We believe that consultations are a forum for both the patient and cosmetic surgeon to gather and communicate information to each other. We have designed the patient consultation experience around what we would like in a visit to a cosmetic surgeon—and we’re pretty picky. We like seeing the doctor quickly, not feeling pressured by sales tactics, being able to reach our doctor if we are worried or just have a question and we expect a friendly office staff. So that is what we offer to you!
Your consultation journey begins
Our experienced nursing staff will say hello and escort you to our consultation room, where you will meet with Dr. Ditesheim. If you are seeing us about a breast enhancement or body contouring procedure, we will provide you with a soft and warm cloth robe to change into.
Your full cosmetic surgery consultation will probably take about one hour from start to finish, but can take longer if needed. Most important is that all your questions are answered and that you feel comfortable with all the information you received.
You’ll never feel rushed at our office. In our experience, a thorough consultation allows us to better meet your needs.
MEETING WITH DR. DITESHEIM
When you’re ready, Dr. Ditesheim will introduce himself and give you a chance to discuss your desires and motivations for cosmetic surgery. He will evaluate your area of concern and explain the possible ways that cosmetic surgery can help you to achieve your specific goals.
During your examination, a nurse will be right there with Dr. Ditesheim. We do not use non-physician “consultants,” as in many plastic surgery practices. We believe you should have your questions answered directly by the plastic surgeon who will be performing your surgery and meet the same caring medical professionals who will be with you from your first consultation, to the operating room and throughout your recovery and aftercare.
